Kumaraparvata also known as Pushpagiri is the third tallest peak in the western ghats of Karnataka at a height of 1712m(5624ft) is very close to Kukke Subramanya temple and is one of the most beautiful peaks in the whole of western ghats.
This mountain is on the border between Dakshina Kannada and Kodagu district. So the lights of Somwarpet town in Kodagu can be seen from the peak. It is very popular among the trekkers of South India and an ideal place for trekking and exploring.

 2. TADIANDAMOL TREK(COORG)

Tadiayandamol peak height is 1740 mts from sea level. This is second tallest peak in Karnataka . Tallest peak in Coorg. 
Mainly there are two trek routes. 1) Aramane / Palace route 2) Honey Vally route

Tadiandamol trek is one of the most beautiful, though less known ,treks in karnataka .
It is the highest peak in coorg/kodagu district with an elevation of 5740ft.

The trail you go through the vast expanse of the Shola forsts,through endless lush green grasslands and streams.

Mullayanagiri trek makes it one of the most amazing trekking trails not only in Chikmagalur but the whole of South India. The misty landscapes are interspersed with Serpentine paths, steep inclines and grassy patches.
ABOUT : Mullayanagiri is named after the tomb of Saint Mulappa Swamy located on its peak. It is believed that the saint meditated in the caves that surround this lofty hill. There is also a small temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located on top of the Mullayanagiri peak.

6.NARASIMHA PARVATHA TREK(AGUMBE)



Location: Narasimha Parvata  > Agumbe > Shivamogga > Karnataka  > India 
Distance from Bangalore : 362 Kms
Trek difficulty Level : Difficult from Malandur (Agumbe side) to peak, Moderate  from Kigga (Sringeri side) to peak
Narasimha Parvata trek distance: 13 Kms from Malandur (Agumbe side) to peak. 6 Kms from Kigga (Sringeri side) to peak
Narasimha Parvata height: 1150 Mts
Time to trek:  8 - 9 hours from Malandur (Agumbe side) to peak. 4 - 6 hours from Kigga (Sringeri side) to peak

Kigga to forest starting point: 1 Km (25 mins)
Inside the forest: 2kms (2.5 hours)
Forest to the top on grassy plain: 3 kms (3 hours)

9.SAVANDURGA TREK(NEAR BANGALORE)



ABOUT : Savandurga is a hill 60 km west of Bangalore (KarnatakaIndia) off the Magadi road 12.919654°N 77.292881°E, in India. The hill is considered to be among the largest monolith hills in Asia.[1] The hill rises to 1226 m above mean sea level and forms a part of the Deccan plateau. It consists of peninsular gneiss, granites, basic dykes and laterites. The Arkavathi river passes nearby through the Thippagondanahalli reservoir and on towards Manchanabele dam. Savandurga is one of the tallest monolithic hills in the world .There are two distinct peaks here, the Billigudda and Karigudda - of which Billigudda is a popular trekking destination and Karigudda is a lot more tougher to reach

10.NIGHT TREK IN SKANDAGIRI(Chikbalapur)


Skandagiri, located about 60 km from Bangalore is a perfect destination for one day outing.
It is beautiful, and adventurous too
Skandgiri, situated 3 km from Chikballapur village, is a scenic weekend getaway that also serves as an adventure weekend getaway. It is a hill with the ruins of a fort which dates back to the 18th century. The fort is in a dilapidated condition, and so is the temple situated close to it, but that takes nothing away from the trek to the top of the mountain.
